About the role

Gapwaves offers the chance for individuals to join as summer job. The goal is to provide you with an all-rounder experience of engineering based on your interests and predispositions, fostering your interest in further studies or potential future collaboration with us. Tasks may involve a range of assignments within R&D.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Mechanical and electrical measurements of antennas

• Production operator / assembly of antennas / packaging of antennas

• CAD (in Solidworks) of electrical measurement adaptors and mechanical holders and fixtures

• Lab organization according to 5S methodology

• Production data development and analysis

• Data and image analysis projects

• Automatic image analysis of microscope images

There is a possibility to extend the summer work to part-time work during the year.

What you will join

Your qualifications

We are seeking individuals who are enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program focused on engineering. Ideally, you should have one or two years remaining in your university studies. You are driven and willing to try out a range of tasks to get career relevant experience, you are organized and care about quality of delivery.

We value individuals who embrace challenges, demonstrate commitment, and aspire to grow alongside us. A solution-oriented mindset and strong communication skills in both Swedish and English (spoken and written) are qualities we look for.
